RMK Cleansing Balm

One of the RMK skincare products I really like is their Cleansing Balm as it feels so good on skin and it thoroughly cleanses my face of all make-up. You can even use it on the eye area as it can dissolve waterproof make-up.

In the tub, it looks like a solid balm but once you massage it on skin, it transforms into a silky liquid. You might wonder what the difference is between their Cleansing Oil and Cleansing Balm, after all both are oils. Well, the Cleansing Balm is more ideal for those with dry skins like mine as it hydrates and softens skin more than the Cleansing Oil. Both are the same price though.

RMK Cleansing Balm smells of crushed rose petals

I like how the wax emulsifies into an oil texture and the soft rose scent makes this product such a pleasure to use. Contains grape seed oil, jojoba oil and avocado oil for moisturizing.

RMK Cleansing Balm retails at RM110/100g.

  1. Crushed rose petals…. Ooh… I gotta go smell it.

You mentioned you liked this cleansing balm. Compare this to the Sisley cleansing milk you reviewed previously, set the price issue aside, how do you like both ? Since I started using cleansing milk, I can’t persuade myself to use cleansing oil anymore but I’ve not tried cleansing balm.

    1. Ok, they both cleanse equally well but price aside, I think you’ve got to consider the texture. Cleansing milk of course doesn’t have that oily feel and the Sisley one feels so comfortable and soft on skin. The RMK Balm really does smell of roses (quite mild) and it isn’t as runny as a cleansing oil yet has oil texture when you massage on to skin. I like both equally to be honest but of course if I consider the price, I would get the RMK one without hesitation.
