Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EDT is not to be confused with Dior Sauvage which is like the modern interpretation of Eau Sauvage. Eau Sauvage was first introduced in 1966 as Dior’s 1st men’s fragrance so this is a timeless classic which thankfully is still available now. Just look at how classic the bottle is, like a vintage cologne bottle.

Some ladies will love this fragrance too as it smells very citrusy. It contains the fresh, airy notes of hedione as a result of research on jasmine absolute. Hedione has a floral jasmine scent and lemon accents. Then there is lavender with a woody tone. The citrus notes come from Calabrian Bergamot Essence (the bergamot is grown in the south of Italy). There’s a chypre accord too. Altogether, the ideal fragrance for anyone who loves citrus based fragrances.
