With over 1,200 outlets in South Korea and establishing a great following in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, Malaysia will now be the next to say “Ne! Ne!” (Yes! Yes!) to delicious Korean fried chicken as the largest fried chicken chain in South Korea; NeNe Chicken is set to open a few branches in Malaysia in the first half of 2018.

Promising to serve happiness and positivity to customers, NeNe Chicken was first established in 1999 by C.H. Hyun in South Korea. A man with humble beginnings, his curiosity and positive nature led to a personal philosophy of spreading happiness around him. This philosophy is engrained into NeNe Chicken, which has become a place that sells more than fried chicken but a place that provides comfort, nourishment and joy.

Malaysians are set to be introduced a menu that should delight all the senses, among the items, are their signature NeNe Chicken wingettes and drummets that is prepared in six (6) different flavours that customers can choose from (Swicy, Original, Freaking Hot, Bulgogi, Snowing Cheese, and Snowing Vegetable), NeNe Burger, Kimchi Burger, and Black Sesame Soft Serve Ice Cream.

More items will join the existing menu as NeNe Chicken expands its network of restaurants throughout Malaysia. As for now, Malaysians can expect the highest quality and freshest ingredients used in the preparation according to the top-secret NeNe recipes in all its offerings, with the very original sauces imported from South Korea giving it a unique twist and taste.

NeNe Chicken has not only proven itself to be popular in South Korea, where it is a widely enjoyed delicacy among Koreans but also in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Many of local Malaysian fans who had their first encounter at these outlets have also expressed joy and delight at the thought of the first NeNe Chicken outlet opening soon in Malaysia.

NeNe Chicken Malaysia is operated by NNC Food Industries Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary of STGroup who have been instrumental in expanding brands such as PappaRich, Ippudo Ramen, Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart (Australia and New Zealand), iDarts, PAFU (Australia) and Gong Cha (New Zealand).

Foodies can look forward to the first NeNe Chicken outlet in Malaysia in January 2018. More updates will be shared on the NeNe Chicken Malaysia Facebook and Instagram page, and the full menu can be seen on www.nenechicken.com.my
