Attractive monthly prizes awaits vaccinated Malaysians through the Vax & Win campaign by NCT Alliance Berhad. The campaign’s first monthly lucky draw was held today in Kompleks Seri Negeri, Melaka. YB Datuk Rahmad Bin Mariman, EXCO of Melaka Health and Anti-drug was present to draw the names of ten lucky vaccinated Malaysians who had participated in the Vax & Win campaign throughout August 2021. The event was also attended by YB Datuk Muhammad Jailani Bin Khamis, EXCO of Melaka State Tourism, Heritage and Culture.
The campaign is part of NCT Alliance’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to contribute towards the fight against COVID-19 by achieving herd immunity. Launched in late July by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Hj. Sulaiman bin Md Ali, the campaign is also supported by the Melaka State Health Department and Tourism Melaka.
The eight month long campaign will see one lucky Malaysian winning the Grand Prize of a dream home at Ion Forte Green City in Melaka. For the first month of the lucky draw, prizes such as a one night stay at Grand Ion Delemen Hotel Genting Highlands and household items such as air fryer, vacuum cleaner and electric steamboat griller was given out to ten lucky participants.
There as the guest of honour to draw the names, YB Datuk Rahmad Bin Mariman shared, “The vaccination rate in Melaka is encouraging. As of 30 August 2021, 541,899 of the 677,400 or 80% above eighteen Malaccan population had received their first dose. Meanwhile, 393,607 of 677,400 or 58.11% above eighteen Malaccan population had received their second dose. The total number of above eighteen Malaccan population that had registered to get their vaccination is at 643,765 or 95%. We hope that the Vax & Win campaign can encourage more people to get vaccinated as they stand a chance to win a variety of attractive prizes including a dream home in Melaka itself.”
Speaking on the reception of the campaign by Malaccans, YB Datuk Muhammad Jailani commented, “We have seen positive responses from Malaccans thus far on the Vax & Win campaign by NCT Alliance. Promotions for this vaccine incentive campaign has been done all over Melaka, including at the state’s PPV centres. I urge more Malaccans and Malaysians to be part of this campaign as you can qualify simply by completing your Covid-19 vaccination and submitting your participation via the ION by NCT mobile application.”

The monthly lucky draw will take place until March 2022 while the Grand Prize winner will be announced in April 2022. NCT will be contacting the monthly winners directly as well as posting the winners on their social media.
