When I read that Beauty of Joseon skincare has herbal formulations and doesn’t cost as much as some other Korean beauty brands, I just had to try their famous product, Glow Serum. Although it’s created especially for acne-prone skin, I wanted it because of the glow factor. It was a toss-up between this serum and the Repair Serum. The Glow Serum had better online reviews than the Repair Serum.

At a fraction of the price of similar Korean skincare, don’t expect fancy packaging. The bottle is plastic and the dropper isn’t that functional but you can ignore all this as long as the serum works, right? Actually it didn’t disappoint. It feels like a gel and absorbs rapidly into my skin without any sticky feeling. I do notice a subtle glow after using this for a few days.

It contains Propolis which is naturally antiseptic anti-inflammatory, helping not only to calm and soothe, but to go one step further and improve cell turnover to heal troubled skin. Niacinamide brightens and revives the complexion, while antioxidant-rich turmeric combats against free radical damage to keep skin healthy, bouncy and bright.
