If I was stuck on a desert island, I’d hope to have Bobbi Brown’s Rose Shimmer Brick Compact with me as it can double up as blush and eyeshadow. Like many people, I am in love with Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compacts. Never mind the shimmer, that only adds to the appeal of the product for me.
There are so many potential colours with Bobbi’s Shimmer Brick Compacts. You can use each shade on its own or mix them together. With the Shimmer Brick Compacts, you get more than 5 colours. It’s like a myriad of shades with each Shimmer Brick.
If I used the Shimmer Brick Compact only as a blush, I’d never finish using them. I use them as eyeshadows because they make marvellous eyeshadows. The lightest shade in each compact makes for the perfect highlight colour.
The Rose Shimmer Brick contains various pink gradient shades. Okay, pink shades may not work for everyone whether as eyeshadows or blush but these pinks have rose and brown/bronze tinges. As a blush, they might accentuate large pores because of the shimmer so they should be used sparingly.
Bobbi Brown has a face blender brush to buff the Shimmer Brick on to cheeks but since I don’t have that, I just use a big, fluffy brush. The Rose Shimmer Brick gives my skin a healthy flush and a nice bright pop of colour. My cheeks look like they are glowing when I have this on.
Definitely one of my favourite Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. I’ve seen similar products from other brands but so far, nothing comes close to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, they are one of my all-time favourite makeup products.
Bobbi Brown Rose Shimmer Brick retails at RM160/10.3g. On the pricey side but they last me for years.
