Calling Dr Spot To The Rescue

My heart sinks when I notice the formation of acne which usually forms on my chin these days. I guess that’s the most oily part of my face. Some spots are more stubborn than others and they can take days to disappear completely leaving a dark scar.

Although I’ve had Soap & Glory™’s Dr Spot™ for some months, I have been fortunate not to have to use it until recently when a spot started to develop on my chin. Dr Spot™ is an invisible spot-fighting gel with clog-clearing salicylic and lactic acids. As this is a clear gel, I can apply it and go out without anyone looking at my chin in wonderment. I never apply it under make-up simply because I believe that for spot treatment to be most effective, it should be applied without any make-up over it.

The first time I used it, I squeezed out way too much because I didn’t realise the gel was quite so fluid and runny. The fine tip does allow for some control over how much comes out but I think I’d squeezed too hard. It stung a little but after a few seconds, it had a soothing effect. It didn’t dry out the area and it actually felt like it was relieving the inflammation.

A few hours later, the spot looked less red and inflamed. I was surprised by how quickly it’d worked. Of course, it didn’t disappear completely but at least I could see some positive results in a relatively short time. This is one of the better acne treatments I’ve tried.
