Generally, there isn’t a Clarins cleanser I don’t like. They all have botanical scents which are soothing and the Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed for Normal or Combination skin is no exception. This one also contains coconut extract, katafray bark extract and shea butter, all for nourishing and softening skin as well as preventing moisture loss.
Although it’s named a foaming cleanser, I didn’t get much foam out of it when I used my hands to apply the cleanser. There’s more foam produced if I use the Clarisonic Mia 2. Love the scent of this cleanser so using it with the Clarisonic Mia 2 is more indulgent particularly because it’s on my face for 1 minute. If I used my hands, it’s be on my face for half that time.
It’s effective at removing make-up and my skin doesn’t feel tight after it has been rinsed off. I know this is probably more suitable for oily skins because it is for purifying pores but it works for my dry skin too. I like the creamy texture and how it feels against my skin when it begins to foam up.
