Toners aren’t a must-have skincare product for everyone but it’s always been for me as I like the feeling of wiping away any makeup residues from my skin + I believe they function as a prep for serum and moisturiser. I guess I’m in the camp of people who don’t think toners are just a marketing ploy to get us to spend more. I couldn’t do without my toners. Besides, they are really useful for my compressed masks. Dermalogica® Multi-Active Toner comes in the form of a spray bottle. There’s cucumber extract in this one which I suppose is for calming and soothing irritated skin and some flower extract. I love the scent, it’s what makes me want to spray more toner. Just the scent is enough to make me want to get the full-sized bottle.
Good toners are those that make my skin feel hydrated and soft even before I go on to the next skincare steps. I think it is important to soften skin before applying the rest of the skincare products. It helps the products absorb better and what better way than to moisten skin with toner. Dermalogica® Multi-Active Toner serves this purpose very well and I can understand why they have such loyal customers. Most of their products do have fabulous scents and the Multi-Active Toner is no exception.
