Dermistry+ Ultra Illuminating Concentrate Brightening Booster Serum

It’s been 10 days since I received Dermistry+ Ultra Illuminating Concentrate Brightening Booster Serum and I started using it from 8th June. I was curious about this new skincare from Rohto-Mentholatum. Dermistry+ is a new brand that specializes in serums for difficult-to-solve skin problems. The name “Dermistry” comes from dermatology and chemistry, reflecting the brand’s focus on skin science and potent ingredient combinations, while the tagline “The Serum Expert” reflects the brand’s direct and precise formulation.

There are 5 variants of Dermistry+ Booster Serum, each targeting a specific skin concern. Dermistry+ Ultra Illuminating Concentrate Brightening Booster Serum contains niacinamide and Vitamin C (5% Vitamin C + 0.1% Vitamin A). This serum is perfect for those looking to address dark spots and uneven skin tone, as it helps to diminish their appearance and promote a more radiant complexion. With regular use, the Niacinamide and Vitamin C Serum can help to improve the overall health and appearance of the skin, leaving it looking and feeling smoother, more even, and more hydrated.

Dermistry+ packaging design reflects its commitment to a clean, scientific aesthetic. The bottle contains just 20ml of serum. Most serums I have used contain 30ml so todate the bottle is already half empty which means I have used 10ml in 10 days. I think that 1ml per day is normal, neither too little nor too excessive. The bottle is quite opaque but I can see how much is left.

Serum is quite runny, no need to apply too much

The bottle has a dropper attached to the cap so dispensation is easy-peasy. I can’t say it has been effective for me but then again I have not used the whole bottle. I thought that 10 days is sufficient for a review. It would have been nice to be able to say it illuminated my skin or that it’s smoother but no, haven’t experienced those results yet.

It does feel a little sticky for me but to overcome the stickiness, I quickly apply a layer of moisturiser over it. At the price of RM90, I would have wanted it to be at least 30ml.
