Don’t Offer If You Can’t Keep Your Promise!

There’re few things in life as irritating or as annoying as people who don’t and can’t keep their promise but when it comes from an established company, it’s really inexcusable. If I offered a prize in any giveaway, I’ll make sure the prize gets to the winner pronto unless the prize is dispatched directly to the winner by the sponsor in which case, it is beyond my control.

So when I learned that my friend who also subscribed to the Astro complimentary magazine subscription has already received 2 issues, it left me wondering why Astro gave the excuse of “system error” when I enquired about my December issue and till now, I haven’t received a single issue.

I’m tired of getting their same old excuse of having to check with the relevant department before getting back to me with their feedback. I mean, honestly how many working days does it take for them to check on such a simple matter which makes me wonder how many weeks they’d need for more complicated technical issues!

The customer service in this country is at an all-time low. Companies may win awards but it means nothing to me if they can’t even attend to my small matter promptly. Shows how much they care about their customers.

  1. Yes, sometimes I even think whether I am the customer when I received bad service considering i paid for my things. I was scolded by the cashier when I was the one paying for the money. If she has a bad day, it has nothing to do with me. I have even worse day than her but i wonder why should i be scolded by her. The company was not even doing anything about it. I guess the people here is just ‘don’t buy there’ any more if they get bad treatment.
some even go back for the bad treatment, I guess now the customer is not the king or get the best treatment
