Dove® Body Wash with NutriumMoisture™

Launched in May 2013, Dove Body Wash contains a patented formula with NutriumMoisture™ technology – a unique blend of moisturising and nourishing ingredients that replenish nutrients back into the skin. NutriumMoisture™ technology is available in all variants – Beauty Nourishing, Gentle Exfoliating, Sensitive Skin, Fresh Touch, Energize and Revive.

Dove tested their new Body Wash against milk and the results were that skin cleansed with Dove with NutriumMoisture™ showed higher levels of moisture, absorption and mildness than skin cleansed with milk. By nourishing skin while cleansing, the body wash minimises the damage caused during cleansing and cares for skin’s long-term beauty.

New NutriumMoisture™ combines the mild cleansing benefits of DEFI (Directly Esterified Fatty Isethionate) technology found in the iconic Dove Beauty Bar with a new, unique nourishing complex that cares for skin’s long-term beauty. Unlike regular body washes, this first-of-its-kind body wash technology takes a dual approach to healthy skin by preserving both proteins and lipids during cleansing which is critical for optimal long-term beautiful skin. The unique combination of moisturising and nourishing ingredients absorb into skin to replenish lipids lost during cleansing.

Generally, I don’t really fancy drugstore body washes because the scents are a bit too artificially strong but I do like the scent of Dove’s Beauty Nourishing Body Wash and the milky consistency which doesn’t dry out my skin after my shower. The scent is rather refreshing and relaxing. When I run out of the 1L pump bottle (it will take a while!), I would definitely consider purchasing another bottle as the price is right and it’s a really good quality body wash (lather is thick and feels luxurious) for the price!

The 1 litre bottles are RM22.90. It is also available in 200ml at RM5.90 for the Beauty Nourishing and Gentle Exfoliating variant.
