Drugstore Find Of The Week #4 : Pure Beauty Perfect Cleansing Liquid

It’s commonplace these days to find major drugstores producing house branded skincare and bodycare. Watsons launched the Pure Beauty range last year. I first saw it at Watsons, KLCC and had been curious about it ever since so it was timely when they offered a 10% discount on the Pure Beauty range of cleansers for members. It was time for me to try the Pure Beauty Perfect Cleansing Liquid (190ml/RM19.90).

It’s described as a moisturising cleanser “enriched with natural herbal complex (Lavender, Bergamot, Peppermint, Freesia, Chamomile & Rosemary Extracts) to help gently cleanse and remove make-up and impurities from the face”.

The texture is neither too thick nor too thin and semi-transparent. You do need quite a number of pumps to cover the entire face especially if you’ve got thick make-up on. I do like the scent which is pleasant and not at all cloying nor artificial.

There’s a lock on the pump so that there are no accidental spillages. It cleanses make-up efficiently without making my skin tight or dry. I won’t go so far as to say my skin feels super smooth but it’s good enough that it does what it promises.

This cleanser can be used on wet or dry skin but I prefer to use it on dry skin so that it isn’t too diluted. The other cleanser are the Cleansing Water which is also RM19.90 and the Cleansing Oil which is RM23.90. It’s a worthwhile purchase especially when it’s discounted. All the cleansers are made in Korea.

  1. Makeup remover can’nt avoid using oil as it based as it is a perfect element in removing our makeup. Yes, it is oily after u use it that is why it asked u to cleanse using ur daily cleanser after that.
