Finally Hit The Pan : Shu Uemura G Bronze Eyeshadow

It’s one of those rarer than rare occasions when I am almost done with an eyeshadow. I can’t even remember when was the last time I last finished an eyeshadow as I don’t use just one long enough to hit the pan within a year. It’s taken me 2 years to hit the pan with this one. I purchased Shu Uemura G Bronze when it was first available in 2010.

It was one of those love at first swatch moments with this one as it’s a glittery and shimmery bronze gold. It’s really stunning whether on its own or blended with brown or neutral shades. I remember having to hunt down this shade all the way to the Shu Atelier in Empire as it was then sold out at the Shu outlets in MidValley and not available at their Robinson’s counter either.

This one is like fairy dust, there’s shimmer galore but that’s also the downside as much of it migrates to the under-eye area even when I have used an eyeshadow primer or Inglot’s Duraline. There’s no escaping the inevitable fall-out with this one as it doesn’t stay put.

I love the shade and I don’t have another shade that comes close to it but I’m not sure that I’d repurchase. It’d be the perfect eyeshadow if there wasn’t that problem aforementioned. It’s quite messy in the pan too.

Retailed at RM65/1.8g but I believe it’s now RM60 because it doesn’t come in the plastic pan anymore.
