Formulated with Hada Labo’s signature ingredient Super Hyaluronic Acid and essential oil, you can expect Hada Labo’s new hand creams to be hydrating. The new hand creams come in rose and lavender scents. No fancy packaging, no illustrations of roses or lavender to distinguish them but the pink and purple strips on the tubes tell you at first glance what the scents are.
The Deep Moisturizing Hand Cream is the one with rose scent. It has Bulgarian Rose Hydrosol and 3 kinds of Rose Essential Oil. The consistency is thick but but not too thick as to be difficult to absorb into skin. In fact, it absorbs faster than the Whitening Hand Cream with Lavender Essential Oil which is slightly less thick.
I don’t think there are that many hand creams out there with a lavender scent whereas there are plenty of bodycare products with a rose scent so the lavender scent is less common. I find both equally hydrating and softening. Compared to the Crabtree & Evelyn Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy, these drugstore hand creams are actually more hydrating for a longer period of time.
