Miko Galere With Kerastase doesn’t look like your typical hair salon. For one thing, the seats aren’t arranged in a straight row but in a circular shaped room. Since I had a complimentary hair treatment at any Miko Salon, I chose the master hairstylist’s latest, Miko Galere With Kerastase at Pavilion’s Beauty Hall.
It was good timing as Miko Galere With Kerastase is the first of Miko’s salons to carry the latest Kerastase range, Discipline. This range is for frizzy and unmanageable hair which more or less describes my type of hair. I am always looking for solutions to my frizzy hair. Discipline has products for home and professional use and the stylist recommended my treatment with Discipline shampoo, conditioner and professional treatment.
The Discipline range (for home use) consists of:-
1. Bain Fluidealiste Smooth-In-Motion Shampoo RM85
2. Bain Fluidealiste Smooth-In-Motion Shampoo Sulfate-Free RM853.
3. Fondant Fluidealiste (conditioner) RM95
4. Maskeratine RM136
5. Keratine Thermique (leave-in treatment)
After washing my hair with Bain Fluidealiste Smooth-In-Motion Shampoo, the stylist dried my hair to 80% dryness before applying the professional treatment. I thought the next step would be to steam my hair like what is normally done during treatments but nope, this is a whole new process as she used a ceramic straightener on my hair section by section after the treatment had been applied.
The process with the ceramic straightener didn’t take long. Right after the stylist had finished, it was off to have my hair shampooed and conditioned.
Sleek, soft and smooth hair! What more could a girl ask for from a hair treatment? I love the scent of the Discipline products and my stylist, Shyen did a great job. I’d go back to her any day! Love the ambiance at Miko Galere With Kerastase, one of the nicest salons I’ve ever visited.
Amazing! your hair look really nice. Yes, this is the first time that I see straightener use for hair treatment purposes!
So high class. So relaxing!
