Hours Of Selfie Fun With The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

20220422_230357Since I already have the Samsung Galaxy A32 (bought last October), the size and weight of the A33 5G didn’t seem completely different unlike the phones in the S22 series (each phone in that series feels very different). The similarities are only as far as size and weight goes but of course the A33 is an upgrade for me with additional features.

The A33 has a matte finish which I like. Being water and dust resistant is a relief as the windows in my house are always open and that can seriously attract dust. The Gorilla Glass 5 makes device tougher and less prone to scratch – that’s great because I can see the scratches on my other non-Samsung phones.

With FHD+ Super AMOLED display technology and a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Display, there’s no squinting even when outdoors in bright sunlight. The size is just right even though I did say I really like the size of the S22 which is perfect for my hand but given that the A33 is less than half the price of any of the S22, the size of the A33 is acceptable to me. If I did buy any other Samsung Galaxy phone, I would go for their mid-range phones like the A33 simply because I am paranoid about losing my phone and if I got anything pricier, I would be even more worried.

20220422_230815The picture and sound quality is very good for a mid-range phone. Colours are bright and easy on the eyes. The sound can be quite loud even without having to go to maximum. But this isn’t what I love most about the A33 5G.

For me, the best feature of the A33 5G is the new Snapchat Lenses updated regularly on Fun mode which gives me funny selfies. I can’t stop taking selfies (something I rarely do) thanks to the Fun mode. It’s so much fun taking selfies which don’t look like myself!

20220421_200817img-20220421-wa0012As far as charging goes, I don’t think it charges as fast as those in the S22 series but it’s not that slow. The battery is super long-lasting, it really can last 2 days or more if I don’t use it other than for social media.

Overall, this is a Samsung Galaxy phone worth the price because it delivers & this is the phone I would get for myself if I didn’t already have it.
