To complement the Infuseur DIY aesthetics treatment which I reviewed earlier, Infuseur has formulated a 3 steps skincare (collectively known as “Barrier Restore Series”) comprising of Hi-Per HA Barrier Restore Serum, Hi-Per Ceramide-3 Barrier Restore Lipid & Hi-Per Calming Barrier Restore Cream. This set of skincare contains nano molecules that are penetrable through the nano channels created from epidermis to dermis, thus absorbable by the skin cells for restoration purposes.
After Infuseur Deep Dermal Restoration Treatment is done, skin repair starts in the deep dermal parts where inner recovery will take place weeks later. Therefore it is important to use the right kind of skincare to assist in the skin repair. Using skincare which cannot penetrate into the deeper dermal parts may cause skin sensitivity.
Step 1 : Hi-Per HA Barrier Restore Serum
Hi-Per HA stands for High Permeative Hyaluronic Acid which is specially formulated to penetrate deep into the epidermal skin barrier layer at multi depth. The small molecular size of this high potency formulation of 10% HA ensures a crucial infusion of the HA into the skin barrier layer to attract water up to 1000 times. A lipid-moisture balanced skin barrier layer prevents TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss) and protects skin from environmental irritants.
This serum has a gel texture and one drop is all that is required as it is highly concentrated. This serum is essential to boost moisture and enhances the efficacy of the next 2 steps.
Step 2 : Hi-Per Ceramide-3 Barrier Restore Lipid
This is High-Permeative Ceramide-3 which is specially formulated to penetrate deep into the epidermal skin barrier layer to replenish lost intercellular lipids due to aging, harsh skin care or environmental threats. Ceramide-3 molecules are identical to natural lipids and particularly effective for skin barrier layer repair and restore.
The Lipid has a oil texture which actually feels rather nice on skin as it immediately softens skin and there is no sticky sensation as it absorbs into skin very quickly and effectively. This is my second favourite Infuseur product in the Barrier Restore Series. Again, one drop is all that is required for application twice a day. It preps skin nicely for Step 3.
Step 3 : Hi-Per Calming Barrier Restore Cream
Hi-Per Calming Barrier Restore Cream is a highly permeative soothing moisturizer specially formulated to penetrate deep into the epidermal skin barrier layer to strengthen its barrier function by locking in moisture, lipids and other nutrients. It contains Aloe Vera extract that relieves skin irritation instantly and Safflower Oil which provides long-lasting moisturization and oil control.
This moisturizer is my favourite product in the Infuseur Skin Barrier Series for a few reasons, namely it smells so nice (not of Aloe Vera but it smells like a natural botanical scent), it has an ideal texture (not too thick but just nice for quick absorption into skin) and it definitely does a good job at boosting my skin moisture. This moisturizer is one of the nicest I have used recently and if I could only pick one out of the three products in Infuseur Skin Barrier Series, this one would be it.
