Kester Black is an ethical Australian brand established in 2009 by Anna Ross who grew up in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne. All Kester Black nail polishes are 10-Free; free from toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates, or any ingredient derived from animals. A very nice lady passed me a bottle of Kester Black Frizzy Logic, a pearlescent antique gold nail polish.
The first layer is rather sheer, need at least 2 to 3 layers for it to be opaque. It dries within 15 minutes and although this isn’t a shining gold, the pearlescent effect is rather lovely. It started chipping within 48 hours though not on all the nails.
Kester Black is available at M+ Pharmacy Bangsar Village.
