I don’t think I have to introduce Sheena Liam as she has become a household name ever since she won Asia’s Next Top Model Season 2. I watched every episode and was rooting for Sheena as I believe she has the potential to go far. I am sure there are many Sheena Liam fans out there. Sheena opened the Khoon Hooi Spring Summer 2015 Show and I had a few minutes to chat with her before the show thanks to MAC Cosmetics, make-up sponsor for the show.

What’s life been like post-ANTM Season 2?

It’s been crazy, I have a life now that I never dared to dream of and never thought I would come this far. I’ve just been to Indonesia where there were 5 floors of people screaming, been to Hong Kong to film a talk show and I’ve been in London Fashion Week.

MAC was the main sponsor of ANTM Season 2. Are there any MAC products you have come to love?

My favourite MAC product is the Fast Response Eye Cream which has caffeine in it. It has an instant effect and de-puffs, erases the look of dark circles, firms, soothes and softens skin around the eye. I also love Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone as it’s good for keeping skin matte and Cleanse Off Oil as it easily removes waterproof make-up.

Any personal beauty tips?

Keep your face clean. Healthy looking skin is better than covering up skin imperfections. Use a good base and moisturize your skin.

What do you think of Khoon Hooi’s Spring Summer 2015 designs?

It’s amazing to open the show for him and the clothes are so cute as they’re inspired by hummingbirds. The feathers and textures make them classic and relevant.

What’s next for Sheena Liam?

I’ve signed up with Storm Model Management and they’re sending me to Singapore soon, they are representing me worldwide.
