Laneige Holiday Collection 2012

This holiday season, Laneige aims to remind women around the world about what makes them happy, their childhood fantasy and dreams with its Holiday Collection 2012 themed ‘Playful Holiday Delights’. This season’s collection resembles Christmas presents and ornaments that brings out the feeling of delight and happiness. Christmas gift boxes and the element of surprise when one receives a present are among inspirations in the design of this season’s collection.

Designed by FriendsWithYou, Laneige’s Holiday Collection 2012 features cartoon characters, fun colours and cute graphics. FriendsWithYou created a set of characters for Laneige that are playful and fun with each representing the elements of joy. They are Kind Mr Right/Miss Right, Miss Super Smile, the Dream Maker, the Cheeky Maskman, Curious Mr Adventure, and the Lucky Balloons that brings life happiness and luck.

FriendsWithYou is a collaboration of two fine artists; Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III whose sole purpose are to spread positive messages of magic, luck and friendship to people around the world through their art. Their art is expressed in a variety of mediums, which include paintings, sculpture, etc.

Laneige’s Holiday Collection 2012 comes in a Special Edition Art Play Makeup Collection as well as Limited Edition Skincare range.

Holiday Art Play Makeup Collection 2012

The packaging design for the makeup collection is monotonous with silver and black stripes, featuring Mr. Right and Miss Right as well as modern shapes and designs.

This collection consists of Lip Gloss, Eye Shadow Palette and Duo Liquid Eyeliner.

There are two variants to the Eye Shadow Palette as well. The Miss Right palette contains pink shades i.e Sugar Pink and Romantic Pink while the Mr Right Palette comes Stellar Black and Silver hues. The Miss Right palette is dual-functional as it can be used as a blusher too and it’s to be used to create a natural look while Mr Right palette is for a smoky look.

The Lip Gloss comes in two colours i.e Pure Red for those who like bright colours and Coral Beige for those who prefer a subtler colour. The Lip Gloss has a non-sticky texture and a long-lasting effect. The natural sheer colours give you a healthy complexion and a natural look.

Edge Black & Star Night Black

Holiday Art Play Duo Liquid Eyeliner, (1.2ml x 2), RM90

This is a water-based duo liquid eyeliner that is ideal for women who likes to mix and match colours. It is available in two variants with two shades contained in each variant. The two variants are Edge Black & Star Night Black and Gold Unlimited & Ideal Silver.

Among the great features of this product; waterproof, quick drying, transfer-proof, smudge-proof and it lasts more than 10 hours. It is a water-based product that is free from Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (IPBC), volatiles and formaldehyd releasing compounds. This eyeliner gives high coverage and a shiny finish.

Holiday Limited Edition Skincare Range 2012

This holiday edition is also available with the Laneige Power Essential Refiner_Light, Power Essential Refiner_Moisture, Water Sleeping Pack_EX and Water Bank Moisture Cream. The design for this limited edition skincare range is slightly different from the makeup collection. Waterful elements and more vivid colours are used in the design featuring Mr Adventure, the Dream Maker, the Maskman and Lucky Balloons.

This revolutionary overnight gel-based light mask supplies the face with nine hours of hydration and nutrition as needed during sleep.
