THEFACESHOP Malaysia brought over Korea’s most celebrated makeup artist, Son Dae Sik for a makeup demo and to present beauty artist certification to 3 of their makeup artists after intensive training. Son Dae Sik is very well known in Korea and involved in diverse areas such as advertising, music videos, fashion shows, TV shows, movie posters and drama makeup.
Son’s first collaboration with THEFACESHOP KOREA began in 2012, with his Face It Lesson 1 series. Through his lesson series, Son offers perfect but easy and simple makeup looks. His Face It Lesson line has been introduced as FACE IT LESSON or FACE IT ARTIST line in overseas markets.
For his makeup demo, Son Dae Sik demonstrated the nude look using THEFACESHOP Cushion Screen Cell Foundation. He emphasized the need for primer in order to get a dewy, glowing complexion. THEFACESHOP Cushion Screen Cell Foundation has small, minute particles of powder, good for covering pores.
Tint lip gloss is the “in” thing in Korea as it’s long-lasting. Son Dae Sik likes to use pale pink as a base on lips so that even when the lipstick fades, lips still look natural.

A 3-themed makeup workshop was performed by Son Dae Sik to THEFACESHOP beauty artists during their intensive training. The 3-themed makeup included the Posh Look makeup, the Natural/Nude Look makeup and the Metallic Look makeup. Certificates of qualification were distributed to each participating THEFACESHOP beauty artist.
