Members of the media on the experiential tour of Intermark Mall KL last Friday had the opportunity to make a basic bouquet demonstrated by the very able florists from Scentales, online florists who make everything from bridal bouquets to flower stands. It’s a lot harder than it looks to make even a basic bouquet especially to the uninitiated like me.

It seemed like a monumental task to me as I have absolutely zero artistic skills. I had to rely on the florist a lot to help out since I have not recovered from my sprained right hand. The flowers had to be arranged in a specific way before we tied them together with a wire and then we had to wrap them in the white and red papers provided.

Flower arranging is not exactly going to be my forte, that is for sure. Now I know why florists charge so much for their work. It takes a lot of time and effort and even if the flowers aren’t the expensive kind, I think the packaging costs quite a bit.
