The world’s spotlight shone on Kuala Lumpur as the press conference for the Miss & Mrs Gaia World 2023 Grand Finals unfolded at the classy Skyhill Restaurant in Avante Hotel, Bandar Utama.
The well received event was graced by Guest of Honour Tuan John Leong Chee Cheng, Ahli Majlis MBPJ Zone 7, who was representing YB Puan Jamaliah Binti Jamaluddin, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri for Bandar Utama & Exco Member for Public Health & Environment, Dato’ Dr K.S. Soo from Qian Hai International Foundation, The Knights Award founder & brand advisor Dr Zyro Wong, and audition judges that included renowned influencer Sabee Chin, Miss Heritage International 4th Runner Up Joyce Lim and A+ Digital Marketing Agency Asia CEO Dr Stanley Yap. It was also attended by more than 50 esteemed guests including celebrities, pageant queens & ambassadors, VIP guests and respected members of the media.
The founders of this extraordinary pageant, and Grand Gaia International, Irene Wong PJK and Emily Tang, took center stage during the press conference to unveil the details of the Miss & Mrs Gaia World 2023 Grand Finals. Scheduled to take place on December 5th, 2023, the Grand Finals will be hosted at the prestigious HGH Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur.
“Gaia is the name given to the mother of the earth in Greek mythology, and is regarded as the creator of the universe and the source of life. She is depicted as a beautiful and powerful goddess who governs the earth and all things, and protects the prosperity and balance of all forms of life. Gaia is considered as a symbolic figure representing respect and protection for nature and ecosystems,” expressed Wong in her welcome address.
”Grand Gaia International is a beauty and fashion platform that combines cultural exchange and business cooperation. It is committed to creating an international and high-end platform that brings together outstanding individuals, entrepreneurs, scholars, and politicians from all industries around the world to explore business opportunities, share innovative ideas, expand international perspectives, and promote global development and shared prosperity,” Wong further articulated.
“The concept of the Miss & Mrs Gaia World contest is “beauty, intelligence, peace, and environmental protection”. The purpose of this concept is to encourage contestants to not only showcase their physical beauty but also their intelligence, cultural knowledge, environmental awareness, and the pursuit of peace,” added Tang.
”Through this concept, the Miss & Mrs Gaia World contest hopes to provide a platform for women around the world to showcase themselves and realize their self-worth. At the same time, the pageant also aims to promote values of environmental protection and peace, friendship, women leadership, generosity through charity, and make contributions to the global social development,” shared Tang..

Irene Wong and Emily Tang proudly announced that a portion of the proceeds generated from ticket sales for the Grand Finals will be donated to the Qian Hai International Foundation.
Also conducted during the press conference was a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Grand Gaia Enterprise and Taro Pictures Sdn Bhd, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Grand Gaia Enterprise and Graceful Entertainment Sdn Bhd.
The delegates of the pageant will have the chance to appear in feature films. Moreover, the organisers will bring in famous influencers from China to provide training to their delegates on becoming online sensations and effectively capitalizing on their online presence.
The beauty pageant comprises two distinguished categories, each embodying unique qualities. The Miss category is dedicated to contestants aged 18 to 28 who are unmarried. In contrast, the Mrs category welcomes participants aged 21 and above. This diversity is reflected in the international composition of the contestants, hailing from countries such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United States, Australia, Russia, Bangladesh, and Malaysia.
