Two nights ago, I was at Sunway Pyramid on the way to dinner at Burger King when I spotted directions to Mission-Q, the latest real escape game in the Klang Valley except this one is a little different as it is a real physical escape game. Curious, I made my way there and it was a journey in itself because you have to walk pass a passageway and up a spiral flight of stairs. It is probably the most hidden escape game location I have ever seen.
Mission-Q started in Queensbay Mall, Penang. I’ve realised that for an island, Penang sure has a lot of escape game companies. Anyway, one has an hour to escape from the current 3 rooms in Mission-Q, I was informed that another 2 rooms will be open soon. The current 3 themes are The Harvest (human trafficking), Knock, Knock, Who’s There? (haunted cabin) and Saving King Arthur (the theme is obvious).
I asked what kind of physical activity is involved and was informed that one has to climb ladders and crawl through tunnels. I think I can deal with that as long as no running is involved.
