Borne out from the idea of natural good living, Nature’s Wonders calls upon Malaysians to start a healthier snacking routine to fuel their body with the right nutrients. A common misconception that eating in between meals is bad for health, snacking is an opportunity to help Malaysians keep consistent healthy eating habits while helping them to get through the day with nutritious snacks.

Speaking at the launch of Nature’s Wonders in Malaysia and a discussion titled “Malaysians Snacking Habit: Are We Eating Right?”, Esther Loo, Head of Marketing, Tai Sun (Lim Kee) Food shared, “In today’s fast-paced environment, Malaysians generally lead busy lives that they often overlook on their healthy eating and exercise habits. We are here to encourage Malaysians to eat right, and this should start with a healthy snacking habit.”

Chiming in on the topic, Indra Balaratnam, Consultant Dietician added, “When our lives gets busy, a healthy diet is usually the first thing to go. The lack of consistent eating routine and eating unhealthy food are some of the things that happen to most of us, and it will affect our body if we continue with this habit.”

Snacking right, snacking smart – unlocking the benefits from tree nuts

Several studies have shown that tree nuts contains healthy monounsaturated fats and are good sources of antioxidants, protein, fibre and magnesium. Nature’s Wonders range of products is ideal for consumers who are looking for healthy snacks packed with goodness as it is lightly baked without any seasoning to retain its natural nutrients.

“Breaking the habit of unhealthy snacking may be difficult but with simple steps, the changes that they will see in their body by snacking right will benefit in the long run. A simple switch from goreng pisang or keropok to a small bowl of mixed nuts and raisins will provide them an energy-boosting snack”, Indra shared.

“We have seen a positive trend where Malaysians are slowly embracing healthier lifestyle and Nature’s Wonders is launched in Malaysia as we see it relevant for the lifestyle here. Our products are naturally free from cholesterol and trans fat with no added oil and no added salt. We want Malaysians to take the effort and start to make the right changes to their diet. Snacking is a good option to start with as it is easy to change and this will have a huge impact to an individual’s diet once it becomes a habit”, Esther added.
