Pampering Eyes With Veld’s Eye Magic

dscn94011What’s better than eye creams in jars? It’s Veld’s Eye Magic of course as this product comes in the form of a pen with a brush to massage the gel on to the eye area. It targets ptosis of the upper and lower eyelids and provides wrinkle-prevention and curative care, for a more youthful eye area.

These are the areas Veld’s Eye Magic targets:-

  • Sagging eyelids
  • Crows’ feet (small wrinkles at the outer corner of the eye)
  • Fine wrinkles on the eyelids (lower and upper)
  • Wrinkles between the eyebrows

dscn94021The product comes out of the brush when the base of the pen is pushed. There is a locking mechanism on the base. One push provides me with enough eye gel for the entire eye area. I love the refreshing feeling of the gel, it’s so hydrating and much better than using my fingers to apply as the brush is super soft. It has a smoothing effect on my eye area.

These are the 2 active ingredients in Veld’s Eye Magic:-

ALOE FEROX:

Aloe Ferox is one of the great riches of South-African botany. This impressive plant which grows wild in the sublime region of Capetown can reach three metres high. Aloe Ferox is known for its stimulating action on collagen synthesis and its active participation in cell renewal.

DILL EXTRACT:

Independent French research has highlighted the important role played by LOXL enzymes (and more particularly by LOXL-1) in the structural assembly of elastin and its lasting functional quality. The same research has shown that the production of these specific enzymes is significantly reduced with age. Molecular biology techniques has led to the selection of a plant molecule, dill extract, which is particularly efficient in activating and stimulating the synthesis of LOXL-1 protein, and restoring elasticity to non-functional elastin fibres.
