Due to the condition of my skin being perpetually in need of hydration, I am always on the look-out for any skincare that can help alleviate the condition. Hydrating masks help provide some comfort from the tightening sensation experienced by dry skin.
Payot Hydra 24+ Baume-En-Masque can be used a 10-minute mask or a sleeping mask. If you choose to use it for 10 minutes or longer, you can either wipe off excess with a toner or not wipe off at all as the mask doesn’t feel sticky. I find that most of it has absorbed into my skin anyway so there’s hardly any excess to wipe off.
I have been using this overnight and my skin does feel more hydrated and plumped up in the morning. The scent is delightfully relaxing. It’s a good alternative to the Asian or should I say Korean brand sleeping masks.
