My last visit to Face Factors Clinic at Solaris Dutamas was 2 years ago and since then, many more shops have opened in the vicinity. This visit to Face Factors Clinic was to try out their Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ Treatment, described as “the first patented treatment to combine non-invasive exfoliation with deep delivery of skin-specific solutions to improve and revitalize your skin.”
Silk Peel™ allows patients to reap the benefits on an accelerated basis without the complications and discomfort usually associated with microdermabrasion, chemical peels, lasers and other invasive treatment. Before the treatment, skin is thoroughly cleansed. There’s no need to remove the eyeshadow since the procedure avoids the eye area. This is a 20 minute procedure so one can even do this during lunch break! Since my skin is dry and in need of some brightening, the therapist used the Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ Hydrating Formula and Silk Peel™ DermalInfusion™ Hydrating Formula on my skin.
The therapist started on the right side of my face first. There’s a suction of skin throughout but it isn’t uncomfortable at all. I can feel the solutions being delivered to my skin. Oh yes, the device can remove surface whiteheads and blackheads so my nose is currently rid of blackheads which have accumulated over the months since my last facial.
Although it may not be so obvious in the image, I could see that the part of my face which had been worked on was a lot brighter and clearer than the other side (left side of my face). The results are apparent within 10 minutes of the suction.
