When I first saw this Shimmer Brick a few years ago, my first thought was “Why can’t all Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks be in this kind of packaging?”. I had a few Shimmer Bricks before this one and they are all in that plastic packaging which is so ordinary and not reflective of the retail price.
Now the Platinum Pink Shimmer Brick has a more posh-looking exterior than its sister Shimmer Bricks. Somehow it feels and looks more sturdy than the other Shimmer Bricks. I love the colours in the Platinum Pink Shimmer Brick as they are perfect as eye shadow highlights.
As a blush, there is way too much shimmer. I’ve worn it on my cheeks and even though I don’t have oily skin, it enhances and draws attention to the size of my pores. It’s way better worn on the eyelids, I reckon. Each individual shade is pretty, sometimes I swirl them together and other times, I use the individual shades.
The only Shimmer Brick I have finished using is the Pink Shimmer Brick and that took me a few years as I don’t use it everyday or even every week. The size of the Shimmer Bricks is 10.3g and that’s a lot for shimmer which has to be used very sparingly. Each Shimmer Brick retails at RM160. I remember that they were just RM120 in 2006!
