L’oreal Paris White Perfect Moisturizing Watery Cream Day

With so many brightening moisturizers to choose from especially in drugstores, how can we tell which suits us best? I guess we could see if we like the texture, just from the feel of the product on our hands. After all, every brightening moisturizer promises more or less the same results – even skin tone, diminishing dark spots, clearer and more luminous complexion, slowing down melanin production. So how do we actually know which one will work for us? Well, I don’t know so each time I try out a product, I just hope for the best.

L’oreal Paris White Perfect Moisturizing Watery Cream comes in a tub which feels quite heavy. It makes it look as if it’s more expensive than it actually is. Although I’ve dry skin and can probably benefit from creamy moisturizers, I still prefer lightweight moisturizers which absorb quickly into skin and are don’t feel heavy. That’s exactly what this moisturizer provides, it’s almost like a gel moisturizer. Creamy it may be but it’s a very fluid cream with a light floral fragrance,.

There is a soothing hydrating sensation upon application. I do like the texture and ease of absorption without any sticky after-feel. Although my pigmentation problem has been under control throughout the usage of this moisturizer, I really can’t say whether  it’s due to the whitening serum I am currently using or because of this moisturizer, could be both. In any case, I would say it’s sufficient for moisturizing my dry skin.

White Perfect Moisturizing Watery Cream Day contains Melanin Block™ for inhibiting tyrosinase, a key enzyme in melanin production (the cause of brown spots and uneven skintone). The other key ingredient is Tourmaline Gemstone, known for its ability to stimulate microcirculation.

L’oreal Paris White Perfect Moisturizing Watery Cream Day retails at RM39.90 for 50ml.
