When I saw this little tub in my Modbox, I thought it looked very familiar and no wonder. I had the same sample a few years ago along with some other Juice Beauty samples. Basically, this is an exfoliating mask for sensitive skins. I think it is left on for 10 minutes, there were no directions with this sample.
It looks and smells like apple puree. It’s not my favourite kind of scent, that’s for sure. The consistency is very runny and tends to slide down my face if too much is applied. There is enough in this tub for at least 5 applications if used sparingly.
The first time I applied this mask, it stung my skin a little but it didn’t when I used it subsequent times. Maybe my skin got immune to it after the first use. I wonder if sensitive skins will feel even more stinging or tingling?
I rinsed it off after 10 minutes, wouldn’t say my skin looked any brighter or even toned but it was definitely smooth and soft. To me, this is an alternative to a scrub. Some skins can’t take the exfoliating effect of a scrub with particles which is probably why masks like the Green Apple Peel have been formulated. This isn’t a product I would purchase as I don’t see the need for it. It retails at RM195/50ml.
a bit pricey…..
Organic no cheap one.
true!
expensive but if it is really good then worth the price i guess.
