L’oreal Paris Shine Caresse

This new lip gloss from L’oreal Paris reminded me of a high-end counter brand, maybe it’s the gold packaging or the emblem in the middle. There are several unique features of Shine Caresse:-

• ultra-light fluid texture for moist effect – so light that it didn’t feel like I was wearing anything on my lips. 
• very high concentration of moisture made up of 30% water and 60% oil – does feel rather hydrating.
• doe-foot foam applicator has a tiny hole in the center designed to remove excess color as you apply.

It felt more like drops of water on my lips than a lip gloss. The shape of the applicator does make it easy to deposit the gloss. I didn’t really like the bubblegum scent (too sweet and heady) and the gloss I received is too pink and sheer for my taste. It’s also not terribly long-lasting on its own. However, I can see that this would appeal to those who don’t like too much colour in their lip gloss and are looking for something very lightweight and non-sticky.
