When I first cast my eyes on L’oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil, I couldn’t help but be reminded of L’oreal Professionnel’s Mythic Oils. The colour of the bottles was almost the same and this definitely didn’t look like a drugstore product, what with the glass bottle making it seem more pricey than it really is.
L’oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil contains an alchemy of 6 floral oil extracts:-
Lotus Oil Nourishes the hair fiber and protects the hair
Chamomile Oil Restores shine to dull hair as it softens the hair fiber
Tiare flower oil Helps prevent dry hair
Dog daisy oil Restores vibrancy to the hair
Rose oil Supplies nutrients to the hair
Linseed oil Provides intense nourishment to the hair fiber
The consistency is quite thick and rich and if I had to compare, I’d say it was most similar to Mythic Oil Rich. It softens my hair immediately and that effect lasts more than 24 hours. I use it before blow drying my hair and in between shampoos especially when my hair looks frizzy. It tames the frizzes and make it much easier to comb, the oil untangles my hair and it’s very useful for making my hair look neater. I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do now. The quality is excellent and the price is attractive enough for me to get a replacement.
The scent is lovely as it has mainly fruity notes:-
Top Notes : light, fruity notes of mango, nectarine and black currant
Middle Notes : sweet, sugary notes of strawberry
Oriental Notes : cedar, sandalwood and patchouli
Extraordinary Oil is available in two formulas – for every hair type and for colored hair. It retails at RM39,90/100ml.
