Renowned Taiwanese beauty guru, Liu Yen was in town recently to share her beauty secrets with bloggers and the media, courtesy of Hada Labo. I was very surprised to learn that Liu Yen is over 40 years old as she doesn’t look her age at all.
Okay, I’m only going to share what I gleaned from this session since my understanding of Mandarin is pretty basic, definitely not to the extent of a detailed discussion on any subject other than food perhaps.
Liu Yen introduced us to Hada Labo’s latest product, the Mild Peeling Lotion which is targeted for oily and combination skin types. This can be used everyday. It has a unique formulation that sloughs away dull skin and impurities and stimulates cell renewal.
Mild Peeling Lotion also has moisturizing properties that deeply hydrates skin providing a naturally radiant and matte skin. It’s recommended to be used with a cotton pad after cleansing and retails at RM49.90/170ml.
During the skincare demo, Liu Yen patted the Hada Labo Moisturizing Lotion on to the model’s right cheek first so that we could see the difference between the right side of her face which had been worked on and the left side which hadn’t.
Applying the Moisturizing Lotion before moisturizer helps the moisturizer absorb better. I am going to try this product since it might just help my skin hydration level improve.
All this while i thought Mild Peeling Lotion was a scrub!
