There’s a good reason I don’t buy eyeshadows are frequently as before unless I absolutely can’t sleep thinking about the eyeshadow. Other than the Urban Decay palettes, I have 26 of their individual eyeshadows. I do use the eyeshadow palettes occasionally but lately I have been using the individual eyeshadows more than their palettes. It’s time to review some of them, for goodness sake, as I have had them for well over a year.
Recently, I took out in and Cobra from my stash as these colours jumped out at me from the rest. Sin is a beautiful shimmery champagne which reminded me of Stila Kitten. I thought this would make quite a nice highlighter but ended up using it on my crease area. Cobra is a dark brown with gold flecks. Sin is a bit smoother in texture than Cobra. Cobra works very well as a liner especially when mixed with Inglot Duraline.
The combination of Sin and Cobra is a semi-smoky look perfect for day time, of course one can intensify the colours for evenings. Urban Decay eyeshadows have such fantastic pigments and the colour pay-off is just about second to none. With them, I hardly need any eyeshadow base.
wow at the colour pay-off!!
Cool!
