On 3rd November 2014, I was on my way to a lunch appointment at Empire Shopping Gallery when I noticed that Is Me Café was open. It wasn’t a few days ago when I was there for the Wacoal Pink Link workshop. I’d read about Is Me Café when it first opened in the Bukit Bintang area, their first café is a stone’s throw from Coronade Hotel.
Turns out I was at Is Me Café Empire Shopping Gallery’s 1st day of business. The café has an interesting and unique concept of combining food/drinks with beauty products as they also sell Cuscos skincare from Korea so ladies, while you sip your coffee and tea, you can reach out and try the products at leisure without some sales assistant breathing down your neck and pressuring you to purchase that serum.
For the health conscious (who isn’t these days?), there is a variety of desserts such as Chocolate Muesli Yogurt and Nutri Nuts Muesli Yogurt and for those who loves their pint of Guinness, there’s even a Guinness Chocolate Pudding. This looks like a great hang-out for a group of girls any day of the week. They offer lunch sets and dessert platters. I like the cozy corner with the blue sofa and cushions, looks comfortable.
Interesting concept. I think the products displayed there would be better than sales person pressuring us to buy those products without actually knowing what we really need. The dessert looks really interesting and delicious!
