To present MAC Autumn Winter 2015 Trends, MAC Director of Makeup Artistry James Molloy is back in town. This season, it’s all about makeup that’s strong, creative, dynamic and polarizing. Makeup is polarized between dark anarchy and light romance. The challenge is how to play with tough and tender beauty in one makeup.

Trend #1 – Beautiful And Damned

This is about Goth, punk, dark, edgy and spiritual makeup. Blacks and reds are the dominant colours in trend. Go for blackened red or plum for lips and darker eye shadows. Keep brush strokes a little imperfect. Don’t think of trend as scary and dark, think of it as scary and sophisticated. There’s an Egyptian/Inca/tribal element to this trend. use Blacktrack Fluidline on eyes and keep the rest of the face bare using Studio Waterweight Foundation (available in September 2015).

Trend #3 – Red 70s
