Borneo Fashion Week, which made its debut only in 2017, has become the most significant and prominent fashion event on the island, providing a platform for local talents to showcase and promote their unique Borneo art heritage. BFW brings together fashion industry professionals – from retail and trade buyers to trendsetters, emerging and established designers.
The pre-launch this evening offered a glimpse of what’s in store – ethnic inspired fashion collections from local and international designers, promising ten spectacular runway shows together with some 30 exhibitors of fashion apparels, accessories, textile, healthcare, ethnic craft and lifestyle products as well as makeup workshops and F&B purveyors – that will run from 7 to 9 September 2018 in Kuching. Present at the pre-launch were founder and organiser Stephanie Alcantara and a host of renowned fashion designers from Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia.
