Downy and Scha Alyahya came together to inspire women to accept, embrace, and celebrate their natural selves through an exclusive afternoon affair at MYDIN USJ, Subang Jaya. During the experiential and “scent-sorial” event, Scha Alyahya shared personal anecdotes of how she has managed to embrace her natural self as she continues to grow as a woman, wife, mother, and noted Malaysian personality.

The campaign “Celebrate Your Natural Self” is aimed at encouraging women to be proud of their unique personalities, everlasting values, and natural beauty. Downy wants to equip them with new “tools” in their “confidence kit” – Downy Natural Aqua Ocean and Downy Natural Secret Garden. Launched at the event, the latest Downy Natural range gives fresh, long-lasting fragrances, complementing women’s natural scents and keeping them confident throughout the day.

As part of the campaign, Scha Alyahya shared the importance of scent and feeling comfortable in her own skin as a role model to her daughter and fans, 20 of whom she met on Sunday. “I used to be very self-conscious. Back when I was still new to the entertainment industry, I struggled with caring too much about what other people thought of me. Over time, I have learned to accept myself for who I am – you just can’t please everyone! So celebrate all the things, big or small, that make you who you are. All women are unique, and every woman has her own story that can never be taken away from her. That is why I’m very happy to be able to promote this message with Downy Natural – let us all celebrate our natural selves!” said Scha.
