As part of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, SJMC’s dedicated team of doctors and staff will remain steadfast in serving the community by working through challenging circumstances to provide excellent healthcare services both locally and internationally.”

Among SJMC’s achievements is the launch of next-generation sequencing to enable targeted cancer therapies.  The hospital also launched telehealth services for patients amid the Covid-19 pandemic to give online consultations and support sessions, including speech therapists and clinical psychologists. Additionally, the hospital has the Joint Commission International accreditation and certification, which is recognised as a global standard for superior quality of healthcare and patient safety.

Honouring exceptional industry leaders for the past 19 years, the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards aim to recognise industries practising visionary innovation, outstanding customer care and world class performance. The company undertakes an extensive evaluation process in selecting winners for each award category.

Siddharth Shah, Research Manager, Healthcare and Life Sciences of Frost & Sullivan added, “SJMC continues to be a trailblazer with many firsts in Malaysia’s hospital industry, the latest being the launch of next-generation sequencing to enable targeted cancer therapies. In facilitating personalized medicine, SJMC not only offers personalized care for cancer patients but also supports treatment with state-of-the-art technologies, such as advanced imaging equipment and digital surgery solutions. It focuses on providing premium healthcare services, such as robotic rehabilitation services. SJMC also launched telehealth services for patients amid the COVID-19 pandemic to give online consultations and support sessions, including with physiotherapists and clinical psychologists.
