YTL Communications has announced that its YES telecommunications services would be launching 5G services in selected markets in the Klang Valley from today, making it the first Malaysian telco to do so. The announcement comes in the wake of Digital Nasional Berhad [DNB]’s launch of Malaysia’s 5G services today.

How to sign up:
- Customers need to sign up to a YES FT5G Plan on our Website (www.yes.my/FT5G), from an Authorised Dealer or 163 MyNews Outlets across Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.
- If the customer has a supported 5G phone, activate the SIM through the MyYes App (App Store/Google Play) and insert the SIM into the phone to instantly experience 5G. If outside 5G coverage, YES’ 4G LTE network will be utilised instead.
