Since the year innisfree entered Malaysia, I have been their member but it’s been years since I bought anything from this brand. It strikes me as a brand that’s more suitable for far younger people than me. For the first time since I signed up as a member, they sent me a birthday voucher for RM10 last month. The expiry date was 31st December and there is no minimum purchase in order to use the voucher.

So since I was at Mid Valley Megamall a few days ago for the grand opening of Dr Ko Dermaceutical Retail, I popped into the innisfree outlet there for the first time. I headed for the sheet masks section. There are 2 main types of masks, one priced at RM5 each and the other priced at RM6 each.

The RM6 sheet masks are innisfree Jeju Root Energy Masks. These masks are packed with extracts of Jeju soil-grown root vegetables – rich in vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids. 8 unique extracts from carrot, beet, potato, burdock, kohlrabi, lotus root, ginger and yam.

Infused with 5 Hyaluronic Acid Complex (Quintuple Hyaluronic Complex), a collection of 5 different forms of hyaluronic acid with varying particle sizes for intense hydration while helping moisture bind at skin surface level. Hyaluronic acid holds 1000x its weight in water and helps deliver lasting hydrating to skin.

On the recommendation of the innisfree beauty advisor, I picked up Yam and Ginger. I didn’t even have to show the e-voucher again, just provided my mobile number and topped up RM2.
