As I’ve mentioned earlier, Tebe range of products is formulated with olive leaf extract which is a natural antioxidant beneficial to skin. According to wikipedia, “a liquid extract made directly from fresh olive leaves recently gained international attention when it was shown to have an antioxidant capacity almost double green tea extract and 400% higher than vitamin C”.
Tebe’s Face Hydrating Wash is packaged in a slim and small flip-top bottle which I find very handy for travelling. It’s so compact that you can slip it into any cosmetics pouch. The flip-top opening is quite tiny so you never find yourself accidentally pouring out too much product.
This facial wash has a gel texture not unlike Clinique’s Liquid Facial Wash and it’s meant to be used only after make-up has been removed with Tebe’s Face Cleansing Milk or any other milk/oil/liquid cleanser formulated for make-up removal.
I reserve this face wash for use in the mornings since I need a stronger cleanser in the evenings. This is a gentle cleanser that doesn’t strip skin of moisture. It won’t lather up much since it isn’t a foaming cleanser. It contains sweet almond oil and a blend of plant oils which is probably what gives it a rather aromatherapeutic scent.
I have used this cleanser by pouring it into my wet palms and then rubbing it between my palms to produce some lather. Another way is to use it with the Facial Wash Net. I prefer the second way as it produces more lather.
As with all Tebe products, this cleanser doesn’t contain any mineral oils, propylene glycol, petroleum by-products, synthetic preservatives, parabens, sodium laureth sulphate, dioxane or artificial colourings.
Tebe Facial Hydrating Wash is 60ml/RM66.
