A New L’oreal Paris Star Is Born

Barbara Palvin is the latest revelation to hit the world of fashion. Often spotted on the catwalks of the world’s top designers, and captured on film by the world’s best photographers, the Hungarian model is known for her penetrating blue gaze, her fresh and captivating beauty, and her bold and individual character. This unique blend has won over L’Oréal Paris. Barbara will soon be pronouncing the famous “Because we’re worth it” slogan, as she takes on the role of global ambassadress for the brand.

“Barbara is currently one of the most promising supermodels of her generation. At just 18 years old, she lights up the catwalks with her irresistible baby-doll style, and surprises us all with her energy, her sense of humor, and her maturity. I am thrilled to be welcoming her to the big family of L’Oréal Paris ambassadors,” says Cyril Chapuy, Global Brand President, L’Oréal Paris.

Barbara was first spotted in her home city of Budapest, aged 13. Over the last few years, she has made a name for herself in the fashion world and has appeared on the covers of L’Officiel, Russian Vogue, Hungarian Glamour, French Elle and the Korean Harper’s Bazaar.

Her fashion show début was during the Milan Fashion Week, for Prada. Since then, Barbara has modeled for a wide range of designers: Louis Vuitton, MiuMiu, Nina Ricci, Emanuel Ungaro, Chris- topher Kane, Julien MacDonald, Jeremy Scott, Vivienne Westwood, Etro and Chanel.

“All this is a bit like a fairy tale. I’m very excited about the prospect of joining the L’Oréal Paris family, alongside huge, iconic celebrities such as Gwen Stefani and Claudia Schiffer. I love using cosmetics, and I’m delighted to be chosen as the face of Rouge Caresse, a modern and ultra-sensual take on a lipstick which is young, fresh, delicate, and ideal to enhance my different looks. I have a very personal vision of Beauty, which is closely aligned with the brand’s modern approach!” says Barbara Palvin.

Barbara is joining the L’Oréal Paris family alongside Gwen Stefani, Patrick Dempsey, Liya Kebede, Aimée Mullins, Hugh Laurie, Claudia Schiffer, Beyoncé Knowles, Jane Fonda, Freida Pinto, Ines de la Fressange, and Bianca Balti.
