Not one to shy away from the outlandish, Jeremy Scott always brings his unique perspective of fashion to the table, often referencing pop culture from the past to the present. Forming a tight-knit relationship with Adidas Originals since 2003, Jeremy continues to design unisex apparel and footwear that is high energy, surreal and most certainly fun, playing with bright prints and unexpected shapes.
In 2008, Adidas collaborated with Jeremy Scott on a collection of apparel and footwear including a winged high-top sneaker, sneakers with teddy bears sprouting from the tongue as well as a pair with Mickey Mouse’s face on the tongue. Jeremy Scott’s designs have been worn by some of the most famous people on the planet including Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and his futuristic air stewardess design was worn by Britney Spears in her Toxic video.
Jeremy Scott’s spring/summer 2013 collection is as eccentric as ever with influences from totem poles to billiard balls. An all- over totem pole print carries throughout the collection and is also executed on Jeremy’s signature winged high top shoe. Other highlights include the JS chain cage track top with cut-out body and basketball jerseys reinterpreted with uneven hems, fringing and woven fabrics. His affinity for animals continues: there’s a leopard headpiece and a pair of sneakers adorned with sunglass-wearing poodles.
Want to stand out in a crowd or wear a statement piece? Jeremy Scott’s spring/summer 2013 collection will certainly make you look fashion-forward and avant-garde!
