While Western people consider Asian food to be quite exotic (maybe not as exotic as before now that it’s qidely available everywhere), most Asians will probably not be so familiar or used to food from Latin America since it’s not a cuisine we get to enjoy every week. I am rather intrigued with Latin American cuisine and it’s always nice to be able to enjoy some such as during the Latino Fiesta at TEMPTations Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel last night.
From now till 28 August 2016, diners can have a Latin American dinner buffet there prepared by Spanish Guatamelan Chef Pablo Crespo.
Diners will have the opportunity to partake of Brazilian Grilled Fish with Orange Sauce, Baleadas Catrachas from Honduras, Chilean Empanadas, Argentinian Churrasco with Chimichurri Sauce, Colombian Pasta Cartagenera, Salvadorean Pupusas and Mexican Brownies with Chilli, among various other Latin American dishes which will leave you wanting to sample more.
The tortilla soup is excellent as it has a smoky flavour, it’s a rich and hearty soup which goes so well with bread. Then there’s the superb churros which I enjoyed very much because they are so crispy and not at all oily, the bitterness of the dark chocolate drizzled over them made this an unforgettable dessert.
The dinner buffet is priced at RM145nett per person and half price for children between 6 and 12 years old.
