Many years ago, I used TRESemmé Luxurious Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner and since I couldn’t remember anything negative about the products, I decided to try them again when I was on the look-out for a new shampoo and conditioner. I rarely use the same hair products twice in a row. Same goes with skincare unless it’s an exceptionally good product.
Another reason for picking up a bottle of TRESemmé Luxurious Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner was because I am a sucker for low pricing. Hey, they were on discount at RM16.90 for 500ml bottles made in U.K. so what could possibly be wrong about getting them?
Well as it turned out, everything was wrong. So much for luxurious moisture. Some hair wash products made in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia gave more moisture than the TRESemmé products. It’s hard to explain but you know that feeling you get when you know your scalp hasn’t been thoroughly cleansed? That’s the feeling I get with this shampoo.
The worst aspect of this shampoo is that my scalp itches a bit after the shampoo and my scalp becomes more itchy the day after and the next day, I just can’t stop scratching! I haven’t had such a disastrous experience with a shampoo in a very long time.
As for the conditioner, it is no better as it causes massive hair fall-out during the conditioning so much so I wonder if I am about to lose half my hair. It’s an average conditioner which I really want to toss out. I haven’t felt that way about a conditioner in a very long time.
No repurchase likely, not even if the price goes below RM16.90.
