Last summer, I was quite taken by Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadows which came in 4 shades. The most vibrant colour was Aqua Flash, a teal-blue which was made even more outstanding by the metallic pigments. There was a sand-beige colour which would have been my next choice had it not been for Aqua Flash.
As the liquid eyeshadows are rather concentrated, there is only .7ml in each tiny tube. The sponge tip applicator will dispense enough for both eyes. Initially, it was easy to blend the colour but as time passed, the liquid has begun to dry up and now, it takes some effort to blend the colour.
This liquid eyeshadow certainly doesn’t need any eyeshadow primer for it to stay put all day and there is absolutely no creasing, smudging or budging with this one. There’s no fading, no matter how many hours I have it on. In fact, it takes a really good eye makeup remover to take it off completely.
When I have the Aqua Flash on my eyes, I usually get people commenting about the colour. I don’t think there are many colours quite as strong as this one. It’s really enough on its own, without having to add any more colour on top save for a highlighter colour on the browbone.
While it’s not an everyday colour, it’s perfect for occasions when you want to draw attention to your eyes. It’s a lovely liquid eyeshadow product but it should ideally be used up within a year otherwise it will be difficult to apply the product once it dries up.
The price of the liquid eyeshadow was RM65.
