From the moment I spotted ARTDECO at Sasa, I wanted to try their Ceramic Nail Lacquer but the price is prohibitive. It’s a small bottle, smaller than brands like OPI, China Glaze and Sally Hansen which are at least twice the size of ARTDECO’s. ARTDECO 63 Rosy Starling is described as “a high performance nail polish in a timeless beige hue”. It looks more like a dusky pink to me. This is a perfect shade of nude for anyone who doesn’t like bright nail shades. I think it’s quite elegant and stylish.
These nail polish are created with a revolutionary, patented formula infused with Ceramic Particles, Plasticiser and Polymere to give optimum consistency, offer good durability and are resistant to chipping. I have used so many OPI shades during my manicure sessions and most of the time, they don’t last 24 hours without chipping. All I have to do is start typing and there’ll be chipping for sure.
To my surprise, this ARTDECO Ceramic Nail Lacquer hasn’t chipped in 2 days despite me going about my daily routine which does involve housework. It takes at least 2 coats to get it opaque and non-streaky. I like how creamy it is with a really nice gloss. I am quite impressed with the quality and could see myself getting more shades but at RM39/6ml, I’ve got to wait till they are on sale.
OMG this is so expensive!
